Article 3 (Effect and Amendment)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted in the App or on the Company website (darak.studio).
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and other applicable laws.
  3. The Company will give notice in the App or by email at least 7 days before an amendment takes effect — or at least 30 days before, where the change is unfavourable to users.
  4. If a user continues to use the service after the effective date, the user is deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Registration and Eligibility)

  1. Users register with an Apple account (Sign in with Apple) or a Google account.
  2. The Company may refuse registration or revoke membership in the following cases:

Article 5 (Services)

  1. Free features: entering records (feeding, sleep, diapers and more) and viewing the timeline, widgets, Siri integration, family sharing (up to 20 people per baby, including you), and MammaCoach AI consultation and voice logging paid for with leaves
  2. Included in every paid plan (Lite, Plus and Premium): no ads, sleep analysis, the full weekly note, and unlimited family garden play
  3. Lifetime pass: on the App Store in mainland China, a lifetime pass is sold that gives the features included in every paid plan (no ads, sleep analysis, the full weekly note, unlimited family garden play and more) with a single payment and no time limit. The lifetime pass has no subscription leaves; MammaCoach answers, voice logging and other AI features are paid with leaves. If the payment is refunded or revoked, the lifetime pass is withdrawn. The price is shown on the App Store payment screen at the time of purchase.
  4. Limits by plan
PlanSubscription leavesVoice logs in the App
    Lite200 every monthPaid with leaves
    Plus600 every monthPaid with leaves
    Premium1,200 every monthPaid with leaves

Voice logs made through Siri do not use leaves on a paid plan, and can be used up to 100 times a day (Korea time) for each baby.

  5. Leaves are an in-app means of use for MammaCoach answers and voice logging. They can be collected free of charge by watching ads, logging care and inviting family, among other ways. The Company does not sell leaves for money, and users cannot exchange leaves for cash or transfer them to others. Leaf balances and usage rates are available in App settings, and leaves spent on an answer that fails are returned.
  6. Subscription leaves are refilled for paid plans on the 1st of every month at midnight Korea time (UTC+9); subscription leaves not used in a month do not carry over and expire. MammaCoach answers and voice logging in the App use subscription leaves first and then saved leaves. Once the subscription period ends (including by refund), remaining subscription leaves can no longer be used, even before the month ends. The month you subscribe in also gets the full amount.
  7. The Company may adjust the leaves needed for each use according to AI costs and usage patterns; the adjusted rates are shown in App settings. The Company will give notice under Article 3 before reducing the subscription leaves of a plan.

Article 5-2 (Tree Gifts)

  1. While the Company offers tree gifts, members can gift their baby one tree that is actually planted. A gift is requested with one fully grown care tree; saved leaves and subscription leaves cannot be exchanged for trees. The Company pays for the planting, and members pay nothing for it.
  2. Leaves earned from care records, rewarded ads, puzzle clears and friend or family invitations add the same amount to permanent tree growth. Monthly subscription leaves add 5% of the monthly allowance to growth without reducing the spendable allowance. Spending leaves does not reduce growth; 365 growth leaves complete one care tree. Subscription growth is credited once per subscriber per month and is not duplicated when another baby is added. When you request a tree gift, however, leaves earned from friend or family invitations and leaves earned from care records dated before the day the baby was registered are not counted. A care tree shown as complete on screen may therefore not yet be available to request as a gift.
  3. Trees are planted in the planting projects of a partner organisation (currently Tree-Nation). The organisation decides where and which species are planted, and the exact location, photos of or visits to an individual tree may not be available. Planting follows the organisation's seasons and schedule, so it can take time after a request.
  4. Each tree gets a certificate page at the partner organisation that anyone with the link can view. It shows the family name and letter chosen by the member, so please do not include the baby's real name, date of birth or other personal information.
  5. A baby can receive up to 10 trees in total.
  6. A gift registered with the partner organisation cannot be cancelled, and the care tree used for it cannot be used again. A gift that stopped because of an error during registration can be retried in the App, and retrying does not use up another care tree.
  7. Tree gifts are not donations or sponsorships and are not tax-deductible. The Company does not guarantee the survival of a tree or the operation of the partner organisation; care and replacement of trees follow the organisation's policies.
  8. The Company may change or stop tree gifts depending on its operations, with notice under Article 11. Certificates of registered trees remain with the partner organisation, and gifts not registered by the time gifts stop are not carried out. No leaves are used for gifts, so there are none to return.

Article 6 (Subscription and Payment)

  1. Paid plans are offered as Lite (monthly), Plus (monthly) and Premium (monthly or yearly). Prices vary by country and currency; the exact amount is shown on the app store (App Store or Google Play) payment screen at the time of purchase. (In Korea: Lite KRW 2,000/month, Plus KRW 3,900/month, Premium KRW 6,900/month or KRW 49,000/year.)
  2. When one family member subscribes, every family member who logs the same baby gets that plan's features; if a family has more than one subscription, the highest plan applies.
  3. Moving to a higher plan takes effect immediately, and the remaining period is settled as the app store provides. Moving to a lower plan takes effect from the next renewal date after the current billing period ends. When switching the billing period (monthly or yearly) of the same plan, timing and settlement also follow the app store.
  4. A free trial may be offered under the subscription terms of the app store; whether one applies, and for how long, is shown on the payment screen. The app itself does not provide a separate free-trial period.
  5. If a free trial applies, the subscription renews automatically when it ends and is charged to the payment method registered with the app store.
  6. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  7. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions on Android.
  8. Payment is processed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing; the Company does not directly store card numbers or other payment credentials.

Article 7 (Withdrawal and Refunds)

  1. Refunds for in-app subscriptions follow the refund policy of the app store you paid through (Apple or Google) and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
  2. You may request a refund within 7 days of payment, processed through Apple Support (support.apple.com) or the Google Play Help Center (support.google.com/googleplay).
  3. Refunds may be limited in the following cases:

Article 8 (User Obligations)

Users must not:

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

  1. All intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to the Company.
  2. Copyright in the data a user enters belongs to that user. The Company may nevertheless use it in anonymised and aggregated form for service operation, AI analysis, and statistics.

Article 10 (Disclaimers)

  1. AI analysis, routine suggestions, consultation answers, and medical information provided by the App are general reference material and do not replace medical diagnosis or prescription. For matters concerning your baby's health, always consult a paediatrician.
  2. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, war, communication failures, or government policy.
  3. The Company is not liable for service problems caused by the user.
  4. Unless otherwise required by law, the Company is not liable in connection with services provided free of charge.

Article 11 (Changes and Suspension)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the service for operational or technical reasons, giving prior notice in the App or by email. Where urgent maintenance or uncontrollable circumstances arise, notice may be given afterwards.

Article 12 (Privacy)

The Company protects personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Article 13 (Relationship with Apple)

These Terms are between the Company and the user; Apple Inc. is not a party. Apple Inc. is, however, a third-party beneficiary with the right to enforce these Terms. Responsibility for maintenance and support of this App rests with the Company; Apple has no maintenance or support obligation.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Any lawsuit arising from use of the service shall be brought in the court having jurisdiction over the Company's head office as the court of first instance.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

In case of a dispute you may apply for mediation or arbitration through:

Addendum — These Terms take effect on May 17, 2026.
Amended September 7, 2026 (Article 6, Subscription and Payment): the amended article applies to users who sign up on or after that date. Users who signed up earlier keep the 30-day free trial from signup provided under the previous Terms.
Amended October 10, 2026 (Articles 4, 5, 5-2, 6 and 7; announced October 2, 2026): paid subscriptions are divided into Lite, Plus and Premium, each with monthly subscription leaves, and tree gifts for babies are added. A paid subscription started before the effective date keeps the previous conditions (no subscription-leaf limit on MammaCoach answers) until the billing period in progress on the effective date ends; a free trial or a complimentary pass granted by the Company keeps them until it ends. A subscription bought, even after the effective date, from the payment screen of an earlier version of the App that describes MammaCoach as "unlimited" keeps the same conditions until its first billing period ends.
Amended October 23, 2026 (Articles 5 and 5-2; announced October 16, 2026): family sharing is free for up to 20 people per baby, including you (the same number on paid plans); and the lifetime pass (including no ads) on the App Store in mainland China is added. A family that already has more than 20 members before the effective date keeps its current members.
